Crystal Based, Professional Microdermabrasion Machines
Our microdermabrasion machines have a closed
loop system that simultaneously abrades the surface of the skin and
vacuums away the exfoliated skin. In addition to the benefit of deep
exfoliation through crystal abrasion, the vacuum process also acts to
bring blood to the surface of the skin, therefore promoting cell renewal
and growth. It also stimulates the lymphatic system in the localized
area.

Microdermabrasion skin resurfacing is
a technique dependent procedure. Training is vital to ensure optimal results
to your patients and is a part of our IBS program for complete customer
satisfaction. Your training specialist can take you through each step
of this manual to ensure complete education regarding your system. Through
training, you and your staff will see how the system offers a multi -
step process to skin restoration without the pain, cost and recuperation
time associated with most acid peels and laser treatments. Training
is free with every purchase.
The Microdermabrasion procedure is a
step between a chemical peel and cosmetic surgery with immediate benefits
for both the patient and practitioner. The procedure has been called the
“Lunch Time Peel” because it takes only 20-40 minutes and
allows patients to return to their regular activities immediately. A major
benefit for the technician and patient is the ability to have full control
over the entire procedure including depth of treatment.

Aluminum Oxide And Sodium Bicarbonate Microcrystals
Our microcrystals come packed in sealed containers
to keep out moisture and retain efficacy. Be sure to tighten cap and use
new crystals for every procedure.
Glass Handpiece (semi-reusable)
Glass handpieces are designed for long-life and
efficiency. There is a ceramic nozzle to promote longer life. The handpiece
is clear and designed to aid visibility for the operator. Changing of
the handpiece is necessary when the hole in the nozzle expands to a degree
that affects crystal flow negatively and which reduces the efficacy of
procedure. Replacement is recommended every 25 to 30 procedures or if
any cracks, chips or surface imperfections are noticed.
Metal Handpiece & Plastic Disposable tips
Metal handpieces are designed for long life approximately
500+ procedures. Plastic disposable tips are designed to be disposed of
after each procedure. Do not reuse the tips, even on the same patients.
Supplied black or orange o-ring must be utilized under plastic tip to
insure adequate vacuum.
Plastic Disposable Handpiece
New product available soon. This makes a new
unused hand piece available for every patient. This hand piece is easy
to use and lightweight.
Disposable Filters
Our filters are disposable to ensure hygienic
and safe operation. Replace primary filter every 8 - 10 procedures and
secondary filter every 50 procedures. Replace immediately if either filter
appear dark gray in color.
Handpiece tubing
Our handpiece tubing has been designed for exceptional
crystal flow and vacuum level. The tubing should be replaced when it appears
milky on the inside or any defects such as cracks or tears are noticed.
Replacement is recommended after approximately 50 uses.

| Operating Specifications |
| The room where the microdermabrasion machine is used
should be equipped with a 110 VAC, 15-amp minimum electrical service.
It is also recommended that the electrical supply to the equipment
be independently fused and switched by a 30-amp circuit breaker. In
an emergency situation, this would enable the operator to switch the
unit off without affecting other systems. We recommend a room temperature
of 68-76 degrees Fahrenheit or 20-24 degrees Celsius. The recommended
average temperature is 72 degrees F. Humidity levels of 30-60% are
necessary to ensure adequate cooling of the compressor and to keep
airborne dust particles to a minimum. To avoid obstruction of cooling
and venting systems, allow clearance of the underside of the machine.
Because moisture in the air could contribute to clumping of microcrystals,
they should be stored and sealed in an airtight container. The Skin
Science System should not be housed in an environment where a facial
steamer will be operating. If excessive clumping occurs we recommend
adding a dehumidifier to the room. |
